Sketchnoting for Fun and Profit

We have found out that people learn better when we as presenters/trainers/facilitators do things like use pictures and sketch in real time — people better understand the concepts, are more engaged in the discussion, and retain more of the information.  In this presentation, we’ll have a conversation about sketchnoting, including real-world examples drawn from agile team coaching engagements.  We’ll explore bits and bobs ranging from:

  • The Six Trumps* and how we see their application to sketchnoting
  • Using graphical elements that are SUPER Simple
  • Crafting a “mole skin” and an icon dictionary (exceptional useful resource here is bikablo**)
  • Tools, tips, & techniques
  • AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION

No need to be “artistic”, come as you are!
