November 2019 - Annual General Meeting
We would like to invite Austin Chapter members to the Annual General Meeting!
Due to overlap with the Building Business Continuity conference in the third week of the month, this month's meeting has been moved to the second week of November. The Annual General Meeting does not include a speaker. It is a chance for the Board to share information about the Chapter and for members to provide direct input to the Board of Directors.
Lunch will be provided to those who register for the meeting by noon on November 7. This meeting is open only to Austin Chapter members in good standing. Non-members, we look forward to seeing you at the January Chapter meeting!
The Board of Directors is proposing changes to the Chapter's bylaws, which the Chapter membership will need to approve or deny. We will discuss and vote on these changes during this meeting. (Proxy ballots will be made available on request prior to the meeting for those unable to attend in person.)
Following voting on the proposed bylawa, we'll vote on the 2020-2021 Chapter officers. Again, proxy ballots will be available upon request to those who cannot attend the meeting.
The agenda will be:
- Discussion and voting on bylaw changes
- Voting on 2020-2021 Board of Director positions
- The State of the Chapter
- A summary of 2019 accomplishments
- Preliminary goals for 2020
- Member input and ideas
This is an opportunity to participate in an open forum to discuss how the board can best serve chapter members in the future.
