Champion Clarity in Communication

Communication is a critical skill to enable productive conversations and interactions between each other. The ability to talk through conflicts, give constructive feedback, and solve problems is a differentiating skill. We are constantly communicating as teams; stand ups, interviews, workshops, retrospectives and more.  Join me to learn techniques to cut through the communication noise in any situation.

Learnng Objectives:​

• How to give and receive feedback to build each other up.
• Make connections that will improve your working (and personal!) relationships. 

Presenter

Heather Mylan-Mains is from Des Moines, Iowa. She grew up there, pursued her bachelors and graduate degrees there and stayed to raise her family. She is a stimulus for change as a mom, consultant, trainer, and speaker She is a board Director for IIBA and is a Past President of IIBA Central Iowa Chapter. For the past 20+ years she has helped teams to identify and solve problems, and she demonstrates and evangelizes excellent analysis practices. Heather is a collaborator and engages people at all levels in organizations. There is no part of the RACI matrix she has not been responsible for! Heather has a BA in Accounting from Grand View College an MBA from Drake University is a CBAP® and a CSM.
