Think Like a Scientist: How First Principles Reasoning Can Make You a Better Business Analyst
Look closely at the work of any business analyst with an outstanding record of solving complex problems, and you’ll probably find multiple examples of them challenging existing methods and conventional wisdom to unleash creative solutions. At the core of this ability to solve problems that no one had cracked before is what we commonly refer to as first principles thinking.
After this session, you'll be able to:
- Describe what is first principles thinking
- Apply first principles reasoning to your BA work to find fresh solutions for important business problems with less effort, fewer resources, and reduced risks.
