IIBA Austin Board members are elected every two years on a staggered schedule. Vacant positions may be filled between elections by Board appointments. Serving as a Chapter officer is a voluntary two-year commitment to the governance of our local chapter of the IIBA and represents an investment in time and skill. President
Kat McGill, CBAP®, IIBA®-AAC, CSPO
Kat is a Sr Consultant with CGI, where she typically has the role of Sr Business Analyst or Functional Lead. She has served on the IIBA Austin Board since 2016. She has helped organize virtual and in-person study groups for IIBA's Core Certifications, and she received Volunteer of the Year for the IIBA Americas Central Region in 2023.

Vice President (VP) Operations
Cindy Brummer
Cindy Brummer is Founder and Creative Director of Standard Beagle Studio, an award-winning experience design agency, providing UX strategy, research and product design for B2B SaaS and health tech companies.
She has served on IIBA Austin's board as VP of Operations since 2019, and also serves as unofficial designer, supporting marketing.
A UX designer and researcher by trade, Cindy gives back to the tech community through mentoring, leadership positions in IIBA Austin, the Rotary Club of Austin, and UX in ATX, and speaking at tech conferences.
On the side, she teaches the UX/UI boot camp program through the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin and coaches youth boxing at the YMCA of Austin.

Treasurer
Jose DeLeon
Jose currently serves as the Director of Business Analysis & Customer Success at the Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS). Jose provides guidance and collaborates with ERS stakeholders on devising effective and efficient approaches to achieving ERS goals and objectives.
Jose earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Texas at Austin and his Master of Business Administration (Management Information Systems) from St. Edward’s University, where he currently serves as Adjunct Faculty Professor in the Bill Munday School of Business.

Vice President (VP) Marketing
Neelam Baxi
Neelam Baxi is a Senior Product Owner at the Texas General Land Office.
She has Bachelors and Masters in Accounting and Finance. She attended Data Analytics and Visualization Bootcamp at UT Austin – McCombs Business School and earned SHRM-CP in 2020. She is also certified Scrum Master (PSM I) and certified Product Owner (PSPO I).
In her free time, she enjoys cooking for her family, spending time with her kids and pets.

Vice President (VP) Professional Development
Sid Jasani
Siddharth (Sid) Jasani is a Business Intelligence Engineer II at Amazon, where he leads analytics strategy for global recruitment programs. He specializes in developing data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making processes.
Sid earned his Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Northeastern University, Boston. He brings strong expertise in database design, ETL pipeline development, data visualization, and cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
In his free time, Sid enjoys staying active through sports like cricket, ping pong, and badminton. He is also passionate about traveling and exploring new places.

Vice President (VP) Membership
Mark Dickerson
Mark Dickerson is a Business Analyst with Mercy Ships, which is where he started his BA career in 2021. He transitioned to Business Analysis from a technical background in IT Hardware and Software. While not strictly an IT Business Analyst, almost all projects he works on have an IT component and so his previous work experience is always useful. He first joined the IIBA-Austin Chapter in 2023.
He has his Bachelor of Business Administration, Computer Information Systems from the former Southwest Texas State University (SWTSU), now Texas State University.
